Planning
your journey to the show:
To plan your journey by car, foot, and/or public transport we recommend using
the Transport Direct web site.
Car Parking at the show:
There is a small car park almost opposite the Christie Miller Sports Centre
but this can fill quickly during the mornings. There will be overflow parking
on the old running track located behind the leisure centre. The entrance to
this is off a roundabout at the southern end of the road running past the leisure
centre. The route from the main road to the running track is a little uneven,
twisty, and narrow so please drive with care and be mindful of drivers coming
in the opposite direction.
In addition there are a few disabled parking bays available immediately in front
of the entrance doors to the centre. Whilst blue badge holders will be able
to park on the double yellow lines outside the centre do bear in mind heavy
goods vehicles will be using the industrial estate on the Saturday so take care
not to block any roadways.
From the north, or from the M4 junction 17.
Take the A350 south via the Chippenham bypass. Continue on the A350 to Melksham,
and keep on this road around the Melksham bypass (Western Way). At the second
roundabout (approaching in left hand lane) take the A365 Devizes road. At the
next roundabout take the right-hand exit (signed Bowerhill / Sports Centre)
and again the right-hand exit at the subsequent roundabout, at the start of
Bowerhill Industrial Estate. This is Lancaster Road, follow it round the left
hand bend, and the Christie Miller Sports Centre is halfway down on the right
hand side, with a car park almost opposite.
From the south.
Approach via the A350 from Westbury. Take the A365 Devizes road at the first
roundabout approaching the town, the right-hand exit. At the next roundabout
take the right-hand exit (signed Bowerhill / Sports Centre) and again the right-hand
exit at the subsequent roundabout, at the start of Bowerhill Industrial Estate.
This is Lancaster Road, follow it round the left hand bend, and the Christie
Miller Sports Centre is halfway down on the right hand side, with a car park
almost opposite.
From the Bath direction.
Approach via the A365, and join the A350 just after crossing over the railway
line. Follow the A350 around the Melksham bypass (Western Way).
From the Devizes direction.
Take the A361 then the A365. On the approach to Melksham, take the left-hand
exit at the large roundabout (signed Bowerhill / Sports Centre) then the right-hand
exit at the subsequent roundabout, at the start of Bowerhill Industrial Estate.
